How many pictures will we receive?
Each package has a minimum amount listed (Micro Mini 7-10, Mini 20+, Standard 50+), but this is simply the minimum I will provide. I typically try to provide as many photos that make the cut.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
I recommend booking a newborn session within two weeks from birth, but this is not mandatory. My photography style focuses on baby's details, day-to-day, and connections with family members. This is wonderful to capture at any age.
Where should we take our photos?
Anywhere you love- homes, fields, forests, beaches, parks, cities, etc. etc.... it all work! I love to try different locations and use the unique elements of them to inspire the photos in the session. This creates a very custom experiences and gallery. If you do not have anything in mind, I am happy to give you some suggestions.
When will I get my photos?
My turn around time is about 2 -3 weeks or less. You will receive a link to a gallery where you can download, share, and print your photos. You will have full personal use rights to all the photos in your gallery.
What kind of payments do you accept?
Venmo, cash, check, credit card
How should we dress for our/my session?
First and foremost, dress in something you feel comfortable in and reflects who you are! For colors, I suggest coordinating colors with others in your session to complement each other as opposed to trying to match each other exactly. When in doubt, neutrals are a safe bet to not clash with a background. Don't be afraid to play with different fabrics and accessories as these can bring additional movement and interest to your photos. I am happy to help with styling if needed; just send me what you are thinking, and I will give you my honest opinion and discuss options! I also can give you access to a personalized styling website that makes it easy to coordinate outfits and select pieces.
Will you pose me?
Everyone has a different level of comfortability in front of a camera and may need more or less direction to feel at ease. My goal is to direct you in a way that allows you to relax in front of the camera. I love to capture natural interactions and movements, and I will give you some prompts and actions to make these unposed moments easier and natural looking.
What area do you serve?
I mostly serve Lewis and Thurston County, Washington, but I am down to travel!
What is the booking process?
Fill out the contact form and I will reach out to you so we can discuss all the details of your shoot. Once we nail down the date and time, you can secure your booking with a 50% non-refundable deposit and signed contract. Then you are all set! The day of your session we create magic, and I deliver your photos within 2 weeks or less!
